OK, call me Rip Van Winkle! Almost a year later I've got round to the pictorial documentation of the settings required to get RSS working. I'll add some words (maybe) later but since a picture is worth a thousand words here's eight thousand words ;-):
- I created an rss folder [image]...
- ...and jotter.rss was then created in this rss folder [image]...
- ...with these properties [image]
- Here are the jotter.rss Basic tab settings [image]...
- ...and the jotter.rss Query Defaults tab settings [image]...
- ...and the jotter.rss Query Options tab settings [image]...
- ...and the jotter.rss Result Settings tab settings [image]
- Finally the Duncan RSS template (as referenced in the Basic tab settings) [image]
Update: See the Something broke my RSS generator thread for details of the fix required to get the RSS working properly. I am sure it used to work with the original settings. I have updated the pictorial documentation to show the fix. The settings changed were in the jotter.rss Query Defaults tab settings [image].... I also cached the AQP results to reduce load on the server and the change was effected via the jotter.rss Query Options tab settings [image]....
